The E-Cell was established at the Pearl Academy of Fashion in 2010 with the following Vision: "To nurture a spirit of enterprise and an environment where capabilities are honed in individuals equipping them with the requisite skills, ownership and attitude to incubate or build up enterprises."

Historically the graduates of the Pearl Academy of Fashion have hailed from business backgrounds and after passing out the majority of them have pursued establishing their own business or joining back their family businesses within a matter of few years. The management of PAF realized that as the variety in courses increased, to keep pace with the various industry demands, there was a need to inculcate specific skill sets in the graduates that equipped them to incubate, nurture and build their ventures. With this intent the E-Cell was established and in the last 6 months it has taken on the onus of supporting 3 Alumni ventures in various stages from concept (pre-venture) to growth and even gap assessment.
